WHO-sponsored preliminary review indicates Ivermectin effectiveness

WHO-sponsored review of ivermectin trials indicates 83% reduction in covid mortality.

Dr Andrew Hill of the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Liverpool (UK) is currently performing a WHO-sponsored review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials of ivermectin against covid. In the following 12-minute video, Dr Hill is presenting his preliminary results, which indicate a highly significant 83% reduction in covid mortality (95% CI 65%-92%).

This result is based on in-hospital trials, so it does not yet take into account early ambulatory and prophylactic treatment. The authors of the review intend to include three more trials, due to be published sometime in January, before providing a final conclusion. At the end of his presentation, Dr Hill describes ivermectin as a potentially ‚Äútransformational treatment‚ÄĚ.

Covid: The Illusion of Control

Covid deaths per million people in Sweden, the US and the EU (OWD)

As the above chart shows, covid deaths in Sweden ‚Äď without lockdown, without mask mandate, and with one of the lowest ICU capacities in Europe ‚Äď are almost identical to the EU average and significantly lower than in the US. In other words, the many measures proposed by supposed experts have been largely ineffective medically, but highly destructive socially and economically.

Dr Pierre Kory on Early Treatment

Dr Pierre Kory, president of the US Frontline Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC), has testified to the US Senate Committee on Homeland Security about early outpatient treatment in general and the importance of Ivermectin in particular. Dr Kory has also addressed the very unfortunate politicization of this topic, and the disappointing inertia of many health authorities.

Covid-19 is currently killing close to 15,000 people per day globally, and close to 3000 people per day in the US alone. As Dr Kory makes clear, given the early and prophylactic treatment options already available, many of these people should not have to die. In particular, Ivermectin appears to be highly effective even in the prevention of Covid-19. (See also: On the Treatment of Covid-19)

The Zero Covid Countries

Southeast Asia: Few covid cases in Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia, but not Myanmar. (ABC, 12/2020)

How did some countries manage to achieve a very low covid-19 prevalence?

Non-African countries with at least one million inhabitants but less than 1000 covid cases per one million inhabitants include, notably: Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Taiwan, Thailand, China (ex. Wuhan), New Zealand, South Korea, Cuba, Hong Kong, Australia (ex. Victoria) and Singapore (ex. migrant workers). Other major countries with a low covid prevalence include Japan, Finland and Norway.

The typical ‘reactive’ measures cannot explain this: It cannot be masks, as most of the worst affected countries have introduced mandatory masks, too. It also cannot be national lockdowns, as most of the worst affected countries have had lockdowns, too. And it cannot be mass PCR testing, as many of the worst affected countries have rather high testing rates, too.
