Ten years ago today, on 22 March 2016, the “terrorist bombings” at Brussels Airport and a Brussels metro station took place. Like most modern high-profile “terrorist attacks” in Western countries, it was a fully staged event run by security and intelligence services: a mass casualty simulation involving the media and an unwitting public. Attributed to synthetic terrorist group “ISIS”, the operation was part of the ongoing Syrian war, the European migration crisis, and the broader “war on terror” and “clash of civilizations” doctrines.
